Hull and East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre
The Daisy Appeal (Hull and East Yorkshire Medical Research Centre) is based at Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham, East Riding Yorkshire. In 2008 we built the Jack Brignall PET-CT scanning centre which scans patients for cancer. In 2023 the charity will complete a radiochemistry and cyclotron unit at the Hospital which will produce the radioactive tracers to improve accuracy and detection rates for cancer, heart disease and dementia for patients living in Hull, East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.
