Medics Against Violence
We are a Scottish charity founded in 2008 by 3 Scottish surgeons. Our members are over 250 doctors, dentists, nurses, paramedics & other allied healthcare professionals who, in the course of their work, have seen many people's lives ruined by the injuries caused by violence and they wanted to do something about it. We run school violence reduction programmes & we partner with the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit to provide domestic abuse trainings & to help run the Navigator programme in EDs in Scotland.
